Dr. Beatty feels privileged to be a part of the UCSF community, where she has the opportunity to contribute to research, education, and clinical care in general cardiology. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking/baking, daily exercise on her stationary bike, and rooting for Duke basketball!

Alisa Boyd, MPH

Specialist, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics

Alisa has been part of the UCSF community and the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics since 2003 managing research studies on osteoarthritis and heart health. Outside of work, she enjoys watching her daughter play basketball, hiking with her family including their dog, and trying new dinner recipes.

Rae Denise Oanesa, MPH

Rae is excited to join the UCSF community and contribute to their ongoing heart health studies. An east coast native, she hopes to learn more about the area and become more involved with the community. Outside of work, she enjoys sightseeing with family and friends, trying new foods, binging TV shows, and listening to music and podcasts.

Crystal is a UCSF Alum ℅ 2014 from the School of Nursing. Her passion is working in cardiometabolic chronic conditions management, health coaching, and health education. Outside of work she enjoys cooking vegetarian Mexican food, traveling, visiting friends and family, Zumba, Yoga, Barre, and dance classes.

Frances is excited to join the UCSF community! As a critical care nurse, Frances has a strong passion in cardiology, chronic disease management, and improving quality of care for patients. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, hiking, yoga, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends.

Alison Chang

Alison first joined the UCSF community in 2020 as an intern with the UCSF Breast Care Center, working closely with cancer survivors in the Survivorship Wellness program. She feels grateful to remain connected with UCSF as a current first-year medical student. Outside of school, she enjoys frequenting local farmers markets, buying fresh flowers, trying new cuisines, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.

Janah May Oclaman

Janah joins UCSF as a medical student starting 2021, working closely with Student for Organized Medicine, San Francisco Marin Medical Society, and California Medical Association in policy advocacy. During her free time, she enjoys singing, playing the cello, painting, traveling, and relaxing with her family.

Saigeetha Bhaskar

Saigeetha joined UCSF as a master’s student in 2022 studying the correlation of cardiovascular risk in breast cancer patients. Coming from a bioengineering background, she hopes to build the bridge between biotechnology and medicine. Saigeetha enjoys traveling, making music, and spending time with friends and family during her free time.
